Camping on Thorney Island....

I'd like to say, on behalf of Nikki, my girlfriend, and Brad, my son..... a great big thankyou to those that had a part in organising the weekend. We all had great fun, especially in the microlights! totally amazed by them! Thanks also to gary and Carol for bringing along the Sand/Land yacht 'thing', it was great fun.....
I've been on Thorney before, long ago in my T.A. career, but didn't get to see all of it, this time I got to go on a little 'exploration' drive along the little hidden tracks and trails in my buggy -great fun!
I for one, think that if it were at all possible, Thorney Island would be an excellent venue for future 'Overlord' shows, and would easily rival W&P, and Trucks and Troops........... what does it matter if it gets big?...it'll probably mean we'll end up with more members, ...more members should mean more hands to help at shows....

looking forward to next oportunity to visit the island!
