Ahh what a cute Teddy, that W.O.11 Hamilcar, is.... Rob brought along a special guest to lunch, -one of the Sgt. Slingsby Holidays For Heroes, Fund Raising Bears.
5! members turned up, including myself and Rob, 3 'unusual' vehicles*, and Rob's Discovery, and the gorgeous Nikki's  PassatVW 181.  DKW Munga.  Project 'X' APLRV.  Nice food, i had Guiness, 'Air' & Beef Pie, and Seasonal Vegetables... the 'air' part was very filling, the beef, rather less so. Nikki had Hunters Chicken, which looked lost on the plate it was on. Rob had Pork in Cider Sauce. Looking forward to the next 'Drive Out' maybe we should go to the 'Pub with No Name', again? ......gone to read EMERs, ref: replacing Gearbox Assembly, Saracen A.P.C., all variants...... methinks this'll be a long job! |
