Living History
We hope to see you at Overlord 2012 but, even with our new, exclusive living history field, spaces will be limited so apply in plenty of time to ensure we can fit you in. With an idea of numbers we can make sure that our on site facilities – toilets, showers, security, catering and emergency cover are fully sufficient for your needs.
The show is open from Friday 1st June to Monday the 4th, please let us know if you wish to arrive earlier or pack up later.

And a personal plea from the webwright who also moonlights as a show commentator – could you provide full information about your vehicle – you have spent a great deal of time and money on it and no doubt want me to do justice to it. A full description makes it simpler for me to talk knowledgeably about your beast for two or three laps of the arena !

Overlord 2010
Overlord 2010 was better than ever, bursting at the seams with traders, exhibitors, re-enactors and arena displays. Record public figures ensured a healthy surplus to fund our charitable donations including our headline cause The Gurkha Welfare Trust

Overlord Show 2009
The Overlord Show for 2009 was a great success with a new arena layout and more ambitious re-enactor battles. As this photographer was involved in the commnetary all his show pictures are of the vehicles. The Club Today
SOE is a thriving club based in the Solent area (Southampton/Portsmouth/Petersfield) and beyond that caters for the military collector, their family and friends.
Activities include organised trips to shows, military sites and museums, meals out, weekend camping, drive outs and a regular monthly meeting with guest speakers, performances and film shows.
The club organises and runs the prestigious OVERLORD military spectacular, a four day event that attracts many military traders, re-enactors, vehicles and exhibitors who inform and entertain the public through static displays and exciting arena events. Surplus from the event is used to support local and national charities such as Rowans Hospice, Help for Heroes and the Ghurka Welfare Trust.
The main supported charity for OVERLORD 2011 was the Royal British Legion who celebrated their 90th anniversary.
